A forward thinking, school federation based in Central London are now looking for an outgoing, highly driven Finance Manager to join a small highly motivated team. Reporting to the Business Manager you will be responsible for strategic leadership and management of all aspects of finance. This role is perfect on a full or part time basis and office based.

Responsibilities of the Finance Manager:-

• Budget modelling, reviewing and monitoring budgets across the schools
• Produce monthly management accounts with variances
• Manage and maintain accounting records
• Monitor money received including grants
• Manage income generation
• Bank reconciliations
• CAPEX forecast and reviewed monthly
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Oversee accounts payable and month end

Requirements of the Finance Manager:-

• Education finance exposure is a huge benefit but not a pre-requisite
• Strong double entry bookkeeping skills
• First rate interpersonal skills to liaise with budget holders across the federation
• Ideally studying towards ACCA or CIMA qualification
• Excellent systems skills
