Description

A superb opportunity to join a thriving business based in Medway Towns, Kent as a Credit Controller. Working in a small dedicated team, reporting to the Manager you will be responsible for your own ledger and client base. Duties will include:-


Responsibilities of the Credit Controller role:-


  • Take ownership of the credit control function
  • Working from the Aged Debtor List, chase clients by phone initially build a rapport, follow up each call with an email
  • Supply copy invoices when requested and POD
  • Request POR, and resolve any queries with regards to shortages or incorrect goods supplied in the order
  • Liaise with the Sales Team with regards to releasing orders and placing accounts on hold
  • Reducing the debtor days and flagging problem clients to the Manager

Requirements of the Credit Control role:-


  • A minimum of 2 years in a credit control position
  • Strong systems skills including Excel
  • First rate telephone manner
  • Attention to deal and highly organised
