A unique opportunity for an experienced Bookkeeper to work remotely on a part-time 30 hr per week basis for an established services business based in Mid Kent.  Reporting directly to the Finance Director you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and supporting financial reporting. 

Responsibilities of the Bookkeeper Role:

• Record financial transactions, including expenses, receipts, and payments.
• Reconcile bank statements and ensure the accuracy of financial records.
• Prepare and submit financial reports as required.
• Generate and issue sales invoices ensuring invoices are accurate, complete, and compliant with company policies and contractual terms.
• Credit Control - follow up on outstanding invoices and resolve issues relating to payments and collections
• Reconcile accounts and ensure timely resolution of discrepancies
• Assist with Payroll

Requirements of the Bookkeeper Role:

• Proven relevant experience gained in a similar role
• Exemplary organisational and communication skills
• First-rate knowledge of Quickbooks or Xero accounting systems
• Positive and flexible outlook
