Professional Body in Central London are looking to recruit a Head of Finance to cover Maternity Leave until June 2025. This person will be responsible for the management of a small finance team and  will report directly to the Senior Executive Team.

Duties of the Head of Finance role 

•  Leading and developing the Finance team and act as a strategic financial adviser to the Senior Executive Team
• Taking overall responsibility for preparation of annual accounts and audit matters 
• Overseeing the timely preparation and distribution of monthly accounts to budget holders, and reporting to the Senior Executive Team and Board of Trustees.
• Responsible for cash and treasury management
• Overseeing the preparation of the annual budget and monthly re-forecasting and reporting to the Senior Executive Team and Board of Trustees.
• Leading on risk and issues, chairing a monthly review meeting with the Executive Team and presenting to the Trustees.
• Taking responsibility for the management and submission of all taxation and statutory returns
• Acting as Company Secretary 
• Ad-hoc duties as required 

Requirements of the Head of Finance role 

• This is a hands on role that would suit an ACCA/ACA/CIMA Qualified Accountant
• Previous experience working at a Senior Finance level in a Not-for-Profit organisation will be an advantage
• Confident and accustomed to presenting at Board level
• Immediately available
