Description

Rare opportunity to join a dynamic global manufacturing group and take control of the Accounts Payable Function. Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing the team, and liaising with overseas sites to collate the information, especially expenses. Develop and implement policies and procedures to streamline and enhance the accounts payable function. Duties will include:-


  • Match and code invoices, process intercompany payments
  • Obtain authorisation for invoices to clear for payment
  • Liaise with European and UK sites to clear any invoice queries
  • Administer the expenses for UK and European entities
  • Weekly payment runs in multi currencies
  • Supplier statement and month end reconciliations

The ideal person will have a minimum of 2 years experience managing the AP function, with first rate systems and Excel skills. Ideally exposure to projects to implement and drive improvements to the AP function. First rate interpersonal skills, and the ability to liaise with suppliers to resolve any issues quickly and efficiently. Benefits include a performance related  bonus, working from home 3 days and 2 days in the office.
