Interim Financial Controller Recruitment

The financial controller is responsible for all accounting-related activity within an organisation from basic bookkeeping to high-level accounting as well as finance activities. The Financial Controller will report to the Chief Financial Officer or whoever happens to be the organisation’s top financial officer in the event there is no CFO. The Interim Financial Controller remains in the position until the organisation's regular Controller returns from leave or the position is filled on a permanent basis by someone else. An assignment may last for as little as a few weeks or as long as several months or more. In some instances, the Interim Financial Controller may also help a business vet candidates for the position.
