- Due to retirement a Finance/Practice Manager is sought by this specialist and leading independent City based 6 partner Law Firm. The ideal person will manage the day to day effective operation of the LLP. Reporting to the LLP board, you will be responsible for the line management of the support staff and the finance team. This will include the development and implementation of the company's strategic plan, policies and practices, preparation of annual budget; providing monthly and quarterly reports; signing off payroll; managing the costing team; overseeing preparation of annual accounts and Audit; oversee the Annual SAR audit; liaison with professional advisors, bankers.
Your operations management responsibilities will include contributing to long and short term strategy, leading one off Projects, insurance reviews, overseeing Human Resources, implementing policies, procedures, benefit schemes, risk and management.
Act as COFA and together with the LLP board to ensure compliance with the Legal Aid Agency; SRA Code of Conduct and other regulatory and statutory requirements.
An attractive salary and benefits package is on offer at c£60-70k + benefits. It is desirable that you will have had around 3 years experience as a practice manager at a law firm, be either ACA/ACCA/CIMA or CPA Qualified (or overseas equivalent), with strong leadership skills, able to build relationships, think strategically, be a problem solver and be able to plan and make decisions.
